Raza's abilities stem from the deal with the (former) King of Hell: Skarlzebub. With this, Raza is able to call upon Beelzebub's powers / appearance to aid him in various ways.
Previously, the skill in which he could utilize this power was severely limited due to immense mental and physical strain. That has since been done away with, altogether, as a result of Skar's contract bestowing Raza with his demonic essence.

STORY SO FAR
PAST
Running away from an abusive household at a tender age, Raza was left to fend for himself along the streets. As a result, placing him within his fair share of sticky situations with more than just a few sketchy crowds.
All things considered, it wasn't all bad . . . as such instilled and promoted his belief that one should learn to adapt in order to survive, forging an urban warrior spirit of sorts.
At ( 17 ), he enlisted in the Demon Hunter Corps and bearing unrivaled tenacity; worked his way up to the skill level of Captain, despite having no team to actually be Captain of.
Some time after turning 18, Raza encountered a demon of unknown origin. Battered and on the final stages of his life, this demon was strewn before the Huntsman with a heartfelt plea between his bloodied maw.
"Beware ... of the seven--";
He would cry, on the verge of death anyway, but Raza's lack of sympathy would lead him onto silencing the creature -- in cold murder! Blind to any suffering, but wide open for the after-effect!
Unbeknownst to the young adult, what came of this hateful act would be the transferal of demonic essence. From the dying, onto the living. Forcing a contract of sorts between the amalgam of demon & human, an unlikely pairing!

| #DEMONOMACHY: CHAPTER I | Full-scale raid across the Globe! In his home country of Japan, DEATH ADDER: Raza surfaces in the city of Tokyo, demonizing any and all caught in his wake, as instructed by Lord Abbadon! Later on, betrayal strikes and by hand of an unknown anomaly, the portion of Hell's Army following Raza is turned against him! Forcing the Ex-Hunter into 24 hours of nonstop running, fighting, and surviving wave after wave of hellish opposition. At the nigh-end, he miraculously manages to dispatch a great deal, escaping to Abaddon's base in South America. |
| #DEMONOMACHY: CHAPTER II | Unbeknownst to a returning Raza, BADCHILD is set to be executed by his own Demonic Guide; Abaddon, who claims: "They've slayed enough of my kind, so let's return the favor and make it painful!" Although, it never comes to pass, as the perplexed aide confronts the Lord of Monsters, questioning his reasoning before eventually putting up a fight. DHC Agents storm the Factory Base, cutting the battle of Teacher and Lackey short, but before the fated meeting can end in his arrest, Raza manages to escape with his life .. and freedom intact. |

( THREE YEARS LATER )
The period in which Raza stayed in hiding, not even visiting the few allies he had, as the search for "MANKIND'S TRAITOR!" persisted -- far and wide!
A majority of his time had been dedicated to the cultish syndicate; "ISCARIOT", riddled with mutated humans hell-bent on flooding the world with its' kind! ( Made possible via the abundant demons roaming rampant, following #DEMONOMACHY ). Using their powers for small-time crime work; Theft, Robbery, Drug Distribution, and etc.
With similar abilities, Raza fit right in. Offered the perfect chance for cover and fund-acquisition, under the noses of the Gang's higher-ups. Gathering clues, discretely and researching ways to effectively decrease the victimized population.

| #FINEDIERUM CHAPTER II | After many hard-fought battles, the team of Demon Hunters is left cornered, with nowhere to run! That is, until an ill-fated memory intervenes! Between Angel and BADCHILD, stands; Raza! Determined to remedy the screw-up of a few years prior, giving ( literally ) his all-- even with pre-existing injuries! All in all, no mere Huntsman could outmatch the benevolent winged men of the skies, sidelining Skar's Contractee directly before the TREE OF LIFE's foot, where the body of ADAM: THE FIRST MAN would be suspended! Interesting Developments arise and soon enough, just when the Demon Hunter was presumed dead, the contract with the ( late ) SKAR rejuvenates his life force. Melding it with that of Adam's. Now, with the soul of his Demonic Contractor and body of The First Human , Raza does battle with the ROGUE ANGEL for the sake of reality as they know it! Ultimately, drawing in the aid of an unusual ally: ARCHANGEL GABRIEL to land a decisive blow; sealing the Heavenly Soldier along the gilded gates of Heaven and reviving the lot of Humanity with the Hybridized DNA of the newly-crowned FOREFATHER OF MAN -- "RAZA"! |
| #HELLIDAYS | The Vatican is ransacked! Afterwards, resulting in the rescission of the Holidays: Christmas Eve & Christmas Day! At the same time, Raza is hot on the trail of "SATAN", associating "SANTA" Claus as a possible alias for the well-known demonic figure. Later assigned to the case of the massacre; Old Man James & Raza discover that the culprit of the break-in was of demonic origin -- and by the insignia left on the victimized corpses, a being of impressive caliber was responsible! So follows an ingenious trap sprung by the DHC, set to lure in the Stealer of Christmas: ENVY! Amidst a series of hijinks and an unlikely game of charades, battle ensues between the newly-crowned Adam and face-snatching Sin, whilst the latter reveals his plot for the True Santa Claus' life. This takes the clash across the globe, eventually reaching the North Pole where the two demonic knuckleheads manage to injure Saint Nick. However, once set straight by the irritated wife of Kris Kringle, Raza and Envy are both assigned as Temporary Helpers to Father X-MAS, forced into cooperation that would ironically save the holiday they both sought to destroy! |
